2021 CUE Conference co-chair alongside Mary Hillis. Despite having just moved to Kumamoto to work at Sojo University, Robert is still Fukui Chapter president, running things remotely until a replacement can be found at the end of his term this December. Robert is a copy editor for the TLT and membership chair for CUE SIG.

Mary Hillis teaches English at Ritsumeikan University. This year, she is the co-chair of the JALT CUE 2021 Conference and the LiLT SIG Forum Chair. She received a Michele Steele Best of JALT award at the conference in 2020. Her interests are literature, writing centers, and professional development.
